Health Effects of BPA (Bisphenol A) and Plastics on the Body

Thomas J. Moore, Medical Intuitive, is discovering more clients with BPA and/or other plastics in their systems each week. The medical community has unfortunately not recognized these plastics or their derivatives as a health concern.

What else does BPA do to your body?

BPA increases the amount of lactic acid in your body causing muscles to be extremely tight, in particular hips, back and neck.  This is especially acute in the morning when your muscles are so tight you have to stretch immediately upon waking up.  This tightness continues throughout the day depending on the level of BPA in your system.  It's like you've been running a marathon all night long.  Sometimes through the day, the lactic acid decreases somewhat allowing for less painful movement.

You cannot get rid of the lactic acid as the BPA continues to create it.  The body normally assimilates lactic acid, but in this case, the BPA is causing an overproduction of it which your body cannot assimilate.  You need to eliminate BPA in your body to normalize the lactic acid production. BPA also affects your liver causing overall body inflammation and sometimes skin redness and itchiness.  These skin problems never seem to go away even with topical ointments, creams or drugs.

Other symptoms are circulation problems, and tingling in the extremities, caused by tight muscles. Over time the build up or continual presence of BPA in the body will soften bones. As your muscles are so tight, softened bones will shift or crack causing mild to severe musculoskeletal disorders.

BPA and other plastics are difficult to extract from your body. We have a product at Harmony Healing Centre which chelates (removes) these plastics, however careful monitoring of your liver is necessary, as function will drop considerably in some cases.  This decrease in function causes even more skin problems and inflammation.

Where do BPA and plastics come from?

  • Plastic water bottles that are not BPA free

  • Using plastic containers in your microwave

  • Using plastic containers for hot food storage

  • In California, Mexico and other parts of the world, some farmers have been using plastic pipes to irrigate their fields for decades.  The BPA (plastics) have been leaching into the ground, saturating the soil and are being assimilated by the fruits and vegetables you eat daily.

If you find yourself with overly tight muscles or skin problems that are unexplained, it may be that BPA or Plastics are in your system.
